Many Huawei owners are attached to their phone, and for good reason: models released up to 2019, such as the P30 or the Mate 20, come with Google services (Play Store, Gmail, Maps), which most later models, like the P40, don't. Repairing your Huawei often means keeping a phone that works exactly the way you like it.
The most common Huawei repairs
On a Huawei, the number one fault is the screen: one drop is enough to crack the glass, and when the display itself is damaged, spots or lines appear and the touch becomes erratic. Next comes the battery, which wears out over the years: a P30 or Mate 20 bought at launch has done a lot of work, and a new battery gives it back a full day of use.

Curved screens: P30 Pro, P40 Pro, Mate 20 Pro
High-end Huawei phones often have an OLED screen with curved edges. It looks great but is more exposed to knocks on the sides, and replacing it takes extra precision: the screen must follow the curve of the frame perfectly and stay firmly bonded along its whole length. P Smart and most Nova models have a flat screen, which is simpler to replace.

Yes. Replacing the screen, battery or charging port doesn't touch the software: you get your phone back with your apps and accounts exactly as before.
Do you repair P Smart and Nova phones?

My Huawei screen is black but the phone vibrates, what should I do?
