Glass or screen: an important difference
On some tablets, such as entry-level iPads up to the 9th generation, the touch glass and the screen are two separate parts: if only the glass is cracked and the picture is intact, only the glass is replaced.
On iPad Air, iPad Pro, recent iPad mini models and most high-end tablets, the glass and the screen are bonded into a single unit, which is replaced as a whole. The simulator and our quote take your exact model into account.
